Resolution 6528, Approving a donation from William Siercks <br />Mayor Marty read the Resolution 6528, a resolution approving a donation from William Siercks. <br />He thanked Mr. Siercks for his donation of $200 to the City of Mounds View Police Department <br />for the purchase of protective body armor. <br />MOTION/SECOND Gunn/Stigney To Approve Resolution 6528 A Resolution Accepting a <br />Donation from William Siercks. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />D. Resolution 6542, A Resolution of Appreciation and Recognition of Mounds <br />View Residents Marlene Kvitrud, Lauren Oman and Sarah Palzer. <br />Mayor Marty read Resolution 6542, a Resolution of Appreciation and Recognition of Mounds <br />View Residents Marlene Kvitrud, Lauren Oman and Sarah Palzer. He explained that Ms. <br />Kvitrud, Ms. Oman and Ms. Palzer are all members of Girl Scout Troop 530 adding that they <br />helped by donating their time and resources to a local women's shelter. He stated that they have <br />also been named the recipients of the 2005 Girl Scout Gold Award, which is the highest award <br />• given in Girl Scouts. He expressed the Council's appreciation to each for their hard work, <br />dedication and devotion of service. He presented each with a Certificate of Appreciation from <br />the City of Mounds View and commended them for their level of Community service and for <br />giving back to the Community. <br />MOTION/SECOND Flaherty/Stigney To Approve Resolution 6542 A Resolution of <br />Appreciation and Recognition of Mounds View Residents Marlene Kvitrud, Lauren Oman and <br />Sarah Palzer. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />7. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS. <br />Council Member Flaherty had the following questions: <br />• Page 2, clarify the payment to the City of New Brighton for $1,485.00. Finance Director <br />Hansen explained that the payment was for the sales tax and vehicle registration for a pickup <br />truck the City recently purchased. <br />• Page 8, Hawkins, Inc. payment for $1,383.56, what kind of chemicals?
