Schedule a Public Hearing for 7:05 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2005, to <br />Consider Ordinance 759, Amending Section 4.02 (Filing for Office) of the <br />Mounds View City Charter. <br />B. Resolution 6538, Approving a Contract with CorVel Corporation for <br />Workers' Compensation Managed Care Services. <br />C. Resolution 6539, Consideration of Application to Voluntary Investigation <br />and Cleanup Program (VIC) for City Property known as the Former Sysco <br />Property. <br />D. COUNCIL BUSINESS. <br />A. 7:05 Public Hearing to Consider Resolution 6540, Approving a <br />Comprehensive Land Use Amendment for The Bridges of Mounds View Golf <br />Course Site. <br />Director Ericson explained that this is to consider and review the proposed land use amendment <br />noting that this should be limited to the public hearing with action being taken at the next City <br />Council meeting. He stated that they have been actively exploring redevelopment of the area and <br />the proposed land use designation would then be consistent. He stated that it was recommended <br />in 2003 that the area should be industrial and in September the EDA recommended a review. He <br />explained that within the Comprehensive Plan the land use currently is split between OSP and <br />SRO noting that the designations are consistent with the land use for the golf course. He stated <br />that the City asked RLK to help prepare a Comprehensive Land Use Amendment, which went to <br />the Planning Commission for review and was recommended for approval. He stated that the <br />proposed amendment was then forwarded to the Metropolitan Council for their review and <br />approval and it was felt that what was proposed was consistent and addressed the possible <br />expansion at the golf course. He stated that approval was recommended on April 27~`. He <br />clarified that if the proposal were approved at a future meeting it would not obligate the City to <br />• do anything with the proposed redevelopment at the golf course. He explained that the <br />Comprehensive Plan Land Use Amendment would change the land use map to be consistent with <br />
