MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER AT 7:05 P.M. <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />3. ROLL CALL: Flaherty, Stigney, Hull, Mueller. <br />NOT PRESENT: Gunn. <br />4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />A. Monday, Apri127, 2009, City Council Agenda. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Approve the Monday, April 27, 2009, agenda as <br />presented. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />Gary Meehlhause, 7400 Park View Drive, and member of the Planning Commission, presented the <br />seven values considered by Deluxe Corporation when evaluating employees. He explained that <br />discussions of the two cases at the Planning Commission meeting became heated and personal at <br />times. He stated that he allowed that frustration to affect his conduct in treating others with <br />respect. Mr. Meehlhause stated he had apologized to the Planning Commissioners involved and <br />now wanted to offer a personal apology to the City Council who had appointed him to the <br />Planning Commission and to City staff for allowing that personal frustration to affect his conduct <br />towards those that he holds in high regard. <br />6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br />A. Proclamation for Building Safety Week. <br />Mayor Flaherty read in full a Proclamation declaring May 3-9, 2009, as Building Safety Week. <br />• B. Proclamation for Arbor Day <br />
