To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7450, <br />Approving a One Day Gambling Permit (BINGO) for Mounds View Community Theatre on <br />Saturday, August 22, 2009, during Mounds View Festival in the Park. <br />Ayes - 5 <br />Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br />Mayor Flaherty referenced Page 5, Custom Refrigeration, for the ice machine. Clerk- <br />Administrator Ericson stated he thinks it was a repair. <br />Council Member Gunn referenced Page 7, Met Council SAC charges. Clerk-Administrator <br />Ericson stated staff will confirm it was for the church and three Harstad units for which the City <br />will be reimbursed. <br />Mayor Flaherty questioned the claim from SHI International Corp for a squad computer. Finance <br />Director Beer stated two were budgeted and this is the first one. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Approve the Just and Correct Claims as Presented. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />10. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. Monday, Apri113, 2009, City Council Meeting Minutes. <br />Council Member Gunn requested a correction on Page 1, Line 39, to add the coach's name Tom <br />Rodefeld and Line 41, add "...State Tournament Consolation win. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Approve the April 13, 2009, City Council Meeting <br />Minutes as Corrected. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />11. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />Mayor Flaherty read an announcement for National Police Week, May 10, 2009, in honor of <br />fallen Police Officers and advised of activities that would occur. <br />Mayor Flaherty advised that residents Jonathan Smith and Brent Fyksen received a Police Chief <br />commendation for providing assistance to an officer in making an arrest. Mayor Flaherty asked <br />staff to invite them to a Council meeting to receive public recognition. <br />
