Resolution 6705 Authorizing the Purchase of Financial Software <br />Councilmember Flaherty stated the proposal indicates the price is not to exceed $63,613 but the <br />actual quote from Tylerworks is $77,463. Finance Director Beer explained that figure is before <br />the $13,000 reduction related to the City's 40% discount plus a reduction for implementation. <br />He reviewed the costs and stated the number is $63,613 when you include the travel costs. <br />Mayor Marty noted the costs are detailed within the Resolution. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Stigney. To waive the reading and adopt Resolution 6705 <br />Authorizing the Purchase of Financial Software. <br />Ayes-4 Nays-0 Motion carried. <br />E. Resolution 6716 Authorizing the Preparation of a Preliminary Feasibility <br />Report and the Selection of a Consultant for the County Road 10 Trailway, <br />Lighting, and Landscape Project <br />Mayor Marry stated this item was acted on under the Consent Agenda but he had a question. He <br />stated he had mentioned before that Congressman Oberstar got federal funds for trailways. He <br />asked if staff considered contacting Ramsey County Parks and Trails about possible assistance. <br />Community Development Director Ericson advised that Public Works Director Lee is looking <br />into those options and staff will advise the Council if the City can take advantage of other <br />funding opportunities. <br />• Councilmember Gunn stated she thinks there are some restrictions on the funds secured by <br />Congressman Oberstar and it was to be used in a specific area, perhaps the Shoreview area. <br />
