To waive the reading and adopt Resolution 6710 <br />Appointing Ciry Council Members and Ciry Staff as Representatives for Ciry Commissions and <br />other organizations. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />G. Resolution 6712 Re-appointing members to various .Mounds View Boards <br />and Commissions <br />Assistant to the Ciry Administrator Crane reviewed that at the December 6, 2005 work session, <br />staff advised that the terms for some members of different Boards and Commissions would <br />expire on December 31, 2005. Staff contacted these members to see if they would be interested <br />in being reappointed for another term. She noted those who responded with interest in serving <br />another term. Dale Aukee has not submitted his application to serve on the Park and Recreation <br />Commission, however he is still interested in serving another term. Frank Silvis does not intend <br />to reapply for the Park and Recreation Commission so there will be a vacancy created for his <br />seat. Staff will provide the Council with applications for the vacant seat along with Mr. Aukee's <br />application. <br />Councilmember Flaherty thanked citizens for stepping forward to fill these positions. <br />Mayor Marty added this appreciation, noting Frank Silvis has served on the Park and Recreation <br />• Commission for 2S years. He suggested that the Ciry present Mr. Silvis with a certificate of <br />appreciation for serving Mounds View for a quarter of a century. <br />
