Mounds View City Council January 23, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting Page 27 <br />• <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that bids should be sought for cleaning, as well as trying to <br />contact Ms. Alonso to have her submit a bid as well. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Thomas/Stigney. To approve the Just and Correct Claims as Presented. <br />Ayes-4 <br />10. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />A. January 9, 2006 City Council Meeting Minutes <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Stigney. To Approve the January 9, 2006 City Council meeting <br />minutes as corrected. <br />Ayes - 3 Nays - 0 Abstain -1 (Thomas) Motion carried. <br />11. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council <br /> <br />Mayor Marry asked staff to notify Northwest Youth & Family Services that he is no longer a <br />board member, <br />Councilmember Gunn stated that Steve Dazenski from Bethlehem Baptist Church is looking for <br />ideas and suggestions on how their bi-annual payment could be used, as has been done in the <br />past. <br />Mayor Marty asked if they have gone before Parks and Recreation Commission. Councilmember <br />Gunn stated she advised Mr. Dazenski that they could contact the Police Chief, inquire at the <br />YMCA, as well as contacting Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />Councilmember Thomas reported that the first meeting of the Community Center Task Force was <br />held, and there is a lot of information to go through. She stated she understands they are under a <br />time limit so to even add one more thing as a specific undertaking would be difficult in the <br />beginning of the process. Councilmember Thomas stated that several issues were brought to <br />light, so homework needs to be done to answer detailed questions. She stated she was excited to <br />see what the Task Force can come up with. <br />B. Reports of Staff <br />1. 2005 Year in Review -Community Development <br />Community Development Director Ericson presented the 2005 year in review. He stated that <br />great pleasure is taken in putting all of the information together for the City Council. He stressed <br />
