Reports of Community Development Director Ericson <br />Director Ericson explained a special Council worksession is needed to review Community <br />Development Department policies and philosophies. <br />The Council agreed to hold the special City Council worksession meeting on Wednesday, March <br />29, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. <br />Director Ericson reported that an appraisal was received on the Premium Stop property that does <br />support the purchase agreement price between the property owner and City of Mounds View. He <br />stated that the property owner signed the purchase agreement today. He noted that there was <br />slight tweaking of the environmental language. He noted the purchase agreement can be <br />executed after the meeting. <br />Director Ericson reported that tree removal began on the Harstad property on Long Lake Road <br />and County Road H2. He commented that Rice Creek Watershed District has not issued the <br />permit yet although they have most of what they need to issue the permit. He stated that the <br />application and fee for the grading permit for the City of Mounds View have not been received <br />yet. He explained that these are the two things that are stopping the project from moving <br />forward. <br />Director Ericson reported that he spoke with four of the six property owners, and they indicated <br />they do not want anything to do with the pool or tennis court, and would be happy if the $60,000 <br />was donated to the City for Park and Recreation purposes. Director Ericson commented he will <br />let the Council know when feedback is received from the other two property owners. <br />12.
