Mounds View City Council August 28, 2006
Regular Meeting Page 18
•
Planning Associate Heller explained that the property owner has an agreement with the applicant,
which will divide the property into three half-acre lots. She noted that the lots meet and exceed
the minimum lot sizes in the City and that the current home on the lot will be demolished.
Planning Associate Heller explained that there would be a large buffer area. She stated that the
final plat has not changed from the preliminary plat that was approved. She stated that all
easements have been dedicated. She noted that the development is consistent to the
comprehensive plan. She noted the local water management plan has been satisfied, park
dedication requirements would be met and all utilities are already accessible from the street.
Planning Associate Heller stated that other than a call at the beginning of the project, there have
been no objections to the project. She added that the Planning Commission and Council had
both unanimously approved the project in the preliminary stage.
MOTION/SECOND: STIGNEY/THOMAS.
