Communications Coordinator Blackford replied that a 27 inch television would
not fit.
Councilmember Flaherty asked if the City could run an extension cord through the dropped
ceiling. Kimberly Backford stated it could not be run from the ceiling due to fire code issues.
Councilmember Flaherty asked the cost of running a cord from the wall. Communications
Coordinator Blackford replied that installation would cost $200 and part of the request.
Councilmember Gunn stated that it will be difficult to watch if it is hung and not in the original
place. Mayor Marty stated that overflow groups could watch the meeting and listen to the
monitor. Councilmember
Thomas agreed. Mayor Marty also asked about purchasing a smaller television.
Mayor Marry asked about the rebroadcasts of the meetings. He stated that the video quality was
very poor and asked if any of the new equipment will fix the quality. Communications
Coordinator Blackford stated there is a problem with the focus of one of the video cameras.
Mayor Marty stated that overall the quality was not good. Communications Coordinator
Blackford asked if he had noticed a drop in the quality. Mayor Marry replied that the quality is
the same, but that the quality for New Brighton's meetings was much improved.
Communications Coordinator Blackford stated her guess is that the cameras were higher quality.
Councilmember Gunn asked if the presentation table and television would be removed from the
