To Approve Consent Agenda Items A, B, D and E as <br />presented. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />C. SCORE Grant <br />Council Member Stigney said that there are state funds available for the benches and he would <br />like to see what is obtained through the state before spending the City's money. <br />Director Ericson explained that the City would not be spending money on park benches just <br />reallocating the money received through the SCORE Grant. <br />City Administrator Ulrich clarified that the City would be paying for the difference in price from <br />a regular bench to a recycled materials bench and the informational plaque explaining the bench <br />and the materials involved. <br />Council Member Stigney said that he does not think that the City should be using its funds prior <br />to using other funds if possible. <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that the funds are limited in terms of what they can be used <br />for and that is for items relating to education and recycling and this is an idea that Staff came up <br />with to meet the deadline date for the Grant. <br />
