Mounds View City Council November 27, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br />of a summary ordinance for publication. <br />There were no public comments. <br />Council Member Flaherty indicated that there was a change to minimum fees so there is no <br />confusion to residents and the residents sign a statement acknowledging that the fee is a <br />minimum and anything additional will be added. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Ordinance 783, an <br />Ordinance Amending Appendix E of the Municipal Code Relating to Minimum Planning and <br />Development Fees and Summary Ordinance for Publication. <br />ROLL CALL: Marty/Stigney/Gunn/Flaherty <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />B. Resolution 6972, Authorizing Final Settlement of Accounts Receivable for In- <br />the-Word Church <br />City Administrator Ulrich explained that this item would authorize a write off of $1,500 for an <br />additional month's rent for In-the-Word Church. He then said that there was no signed lease <br />with the Church which would have required sixty day notice. He further explained that the <br />Church paid its last month's rent and outstanding costs including amounts owed to the YMCA. <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that Staff recommends writing off one month's rent as they <br />did not occupy the space during that time. <br />Mayor Marty asked if there is a written contract in writing with the Chamber to avoid this type of <br />situation in the future. <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that Staff would verify that. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6972, <br />Authorizing Final Settlement of Accounts Receivable for In-the-Word Church. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />C. Resolution 6966, Approving a Step Increase for Communications <br />Coordinator Kimberly Blackford <br />City Administrator Ulrich explained that this Resolution was revised and handed it out to <br />Council. He then indicated that this Resolution recommends a step increase due October 17, <br />2006 but noted that the employee has since handed in her resignation with a last date of <br />
