Mounds View City Council February 25, 2008 <br />Regular Meeting Page 6 <br />• <br />Council Member Stigney asked the Finance Director to provide information on projected income <br />and expenses for the Community Center in 2008. <br />Mayor Marty asked for an update from the Council liaisons after the next Community Center <br />meeting, for the status on what is going on at the YMCA. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7233, <br />Approving Transfer Between Funds for 2007. <br />Ayes - 5 <br />• <br />8. CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Licenses for Approval <br />B. Resolution 7224 Approving Out of State Seminar for Aries Camera System. <br />C. Resolution 7226 Approving the 2008 Seasonal Public Works Positions <br />Mayor Marty removed Item B for discussion. <br />Nays - 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Mueller. To Approve Consent Agenda Items A, and C as <br />Presented. <br />Ayes - 5 <br />Nays - 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />B. Resolution 7224, Approving Out of State Seminar for Aries Camera System <br />Mayor Marty noted that he would prefer a "not to exceed amount" of maybe $500.00. <br />Interim Administrator Ericson indicated that Mr. Dazenski researched the matter and this is a <br />maximum expenditure not to exceed $150.00 per person. He then said that the $500.00 be <br />adequate to cover potential reimbursable expenditures.. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7224, <br />Approving Out of State Seminar for Aries Camera System as Amended to Include a Not to <br />Exceed Amount of $500.00. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br />Council Member Mueller thanked Staff for the amount of detail on the invoices. <br />Mayor Marty pointed out on Page 10 at the bottom, a worker's comp claim for Osmonson. He <br />then said that the building inspector/fire inspector was involved in a rear end collision in a City <br />vehicle, so he mentioned to Mr. Ericson to check to see if their insurance can cover this too. <br />
