Announce Town Hall Meeting -Saturday, April 19, 2008 gam - 12noon Administrator Ericson announced the Town Hall meeting. He then provided council with a handout on the League of Minnesota Cities Annual Conference. 2. Mounds View Community Center Floor Surfacing Options Public Works Director Lee requested direction on resurfacing the gymnasium and dance floors at the Community Center. He then said that the cost to rehab the dance floor would be $5,500 and Staff is asking for direction from Council as to how to proceed. Council Member Flaherty asked what would be able to be done for the $2,000. Director Lee indicated that he is not sure but he would guess it would cover a rough sanding and a coating over that but not a thorough redo of the floor. Council asked to have Steve Dazenski, Parks Supervisor, come to a work session to discuss the floor with Council and the options available. • 3. Finance 4th Quarter Report Finance Director Beer provided an overview of the Fourth Quarter report noting that the year ended with a moderate surplus. C. Reports of City Attorney Attorney Riggs indicated that there has been no resolution of the pipeline situation with Xcel. He then said that he expects to hear from them soon as the spring construction season is set to begin. Council Member Mueller asked if there has been any further contact or questions from Clear Channel. Attorney Riggs indicated that he had sent a letter to them today as he has not heard anything either. Monday, March 31, 2008 will be there is a joint meeting with Spring Lake Park. Council recessed at 9:28 p.m. to closed session. Council indicated they would be adjourning directly from the closed session. 12.
