He then <br />said that he would like to remove decorative lights from the project at this time to save money. <br />Council Member Mueller asked whether the City would be a candidate for a Walkable <br />Communities grant. <br />Staff explained that this federal grant was the only one approved. <br />Council asked that Staff look into memorial benches for along the trail as well. <br />Council Member Stigney asked about lighting and whether more standard lights would be <br />required. <br />Joe indicated that he would need to research the differences in lighting. <br />Council Member Stigney indicated that he would like decorative lighting in the spots where there <br />is decorative lighting across the street, and standard lighting in other locations. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7279, County <br />Road 10 Trailway Project: Segments 1 - 5. Approving the Feasibility Report, Ordering the <br />Project with Revised Scope and Authorizing the Plans and Specifications. <br />Council Member Flaherty said that he does not agree with going back to standard lighting, <br />because the idea of the corridor is to give it a face lift and let people know they are in Mounds <br />View. <br />Council asked that the lighting issue be discussed at a work session. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />Mr. Werner asked if the trailway is another glorified bike path, and if it is he is wondering why it <br />is necessary, if there is one on the other side. <br />Mayor Marty indicated that the City is trying to improve safety for the residents that walk and <br />bike in the area. <br />L. First Reading of Ordinance 807, an Ordinance Amending Title 600 of the <br />Mounds View City Code by Adding a New Chapter 610 Relating to Ultimate <br />Fighting. <br />Assistant Clerk Administrator Crane introduced Ordinance 807. <br />Council Member Mueller thanked staff and the attorney for the efforts this took. <br />
