Quarterly Report for Finance Department <br />• <br />Finance Director Beer provided an overview of the quarterly report for the Finance Department. <br />Mayor Marty noted that the Finance Department has received an award from MCFOA in <br />recognition of the excellent job being done by the City of Mounds View Finance Department. <br />C. Reports of City Attorney <br />Mayor Marty asked about the situation with Jay Brothers in regard to the trail way project, and <br />who the City should pay. <br />City Engineer, Joe Rhein, explained that the City can turn down any bidder that is not responsible <br />as in the case with Jay Brothers since the City is having issues with them. <br />Council Member Mueller asked for an update on the Xcel Energy easement situation. <br />Clerk Administrator Ericson indicated that they have agreed to the City's terms for the easement <br />agreement and they will need to submit the compensation and easement documentation prior to <br />commencing work. <br />Council Member Mueller asked whether the City has a standardized easement amount that the <br />City would pay to a properly owner if an easement is requested. <br />Council Member Mueller asked that staff post the utility information from the quarterly report on <br />the website. <br />12.
