He explained that the Floor <br />due to the heavy traffic, the noise had become a <br />nuisance in his home. <br />Mayor McCarty explained Mr. Petrowski had informally <br />asked the Planning Commission for their thoughts, <br />and he was informally denied, as they felt it would <br />be too large a deviance from the 30 foot setback <br />requirement, as it would be a 40% encrouchment. The <br />Planning Commission advised Mr. Petrowski to consi- <br />der planting shrubs, adding insulation, or moving <br />the bedrooms. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Hodges to.direct Staff to <br />ring a report from the Planning Commission, giving <br />the basis for their suggestions as a alternative <br />to a variance for the Petrowski residence at <br />2708 County Road J. <br />ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />Mayor McCarty stated the City should be able to <br />substantiate suggestions they make to residents. <br />
