APPROVED <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />May 5, 1982 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy, 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />The Mounds View Planning Commission was called <br />to order by Chairman Mountin at 7:30 PM. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Linke, Anderson, <br />McCarthy arrived at 7:32 PM), 'Marren, Miller <br />and Breske and Chairman Mountin. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Councilmember Forslund and <br />Building and Zoning Official Rose. <br />Motion/Second: Linke/Breske to approve the <br />arch, IW and April 7, 1982 minutes as <br />presented. <br />6 ayes 0 nays <br />Commissioner McCarthy arrived at this time. <br />2708 County Road J, stated he <br />wou i e comments from the Planning Commission, <br />regarding the garage addition he is proposing <br />to build, so he would know whether to proceed <br />with filing an application and paying the <br />required fees. He presented the Planning <br />Commission with copies of a sketch of his lot <br />and the proposed building. He explained he <br />wanted to put the garage in the proposed spot <br />to serve as a noise buffer from the traffic on <br />County Road J. He added that he cannot sleep <br />in the bedroom in his house that is closest <br />to County Road J. <br />Official Rose explained the right of way is <br />33' from the center of the road, and there <br />would be approximately 18' from the proposed <br />addition to the right of way. He also stated <br />Mr. Petrowski was presently in line with his <br />neighbors. <br />There was considerable discussion among the <br />Commissioners regarding the possibility of <br />granting a variance, with comments being made <br />that the code should be adhered to, and <br />Call to Order <br />Roll Call <br />Approval of <br />Minutes: <br />March 3, 1982 <br />April 7, 1982 <br />Motion Carried <br />4.
