This is approximately 10 to 15 percent <br />more vehicles than at the time of the noise study. <br />It therefore appears that the noise levels may well exceed M.P.C.A. <br />standards. The Council may wish to proceed with one of the following <br />alternatives: <br />1) Proceed with the variance process. <br />2) Request M.P.C.A. enforce compliance with noise standards. <br />3) Request Ramsey and Anoka counties to implement noise abate- <br />ment procedures such as restricting truck traffic, erect <br />noise walls, resurface pavement or relocate County Road J. <br />9) Request area truck terminals to restrict truck traffic on <br />County Road J. <br />JCJ/bc <br />Attachments <br />cc: Peg Mountin <br />
