Mounds View City Council June 13, 1983 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />--------------------------- - ----------------------- ^ --- <br />Planning Coimnission might think along different lines <br />and not allow a conditional use permit. There was <br />discussion among the Council as to potential problems <br />if the permit was transferrable, as far as someone <br />running a home occupation out of the building, and <br />what type of door would be put on the building, <br />Mayor McCarty recommended the item go back to the <br />Planning Commission for additional consideration, <br />and asked that they also discuss the size of <br />accessory buildings allowed. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Blanchard to table Item K <br />an tctFe request for an accessory building for <br />Willard Haro at 3048 County Road H2, and re -refer <br />the item to the Planning Commission for further <br />disposition. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Sydney Lang, 12 Buffalo Road, St. Paul stated she <br />has always had children in the Mounds View School <br />District, and commended the City for their position <br />on the 19 year old legal drinking age, and asked <br />that they do what they can when issuing liquor <br />licenses to see that ID's are checked. <br />Mayor McCarty stated that he agreed 19 is too low <br />an age and that they will do all they can. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley briefly explained the <br />purpose of proposed Ordinance No. 342, which <br />adopts Rule #8*of the Minnesota Air Pollution <br />Control Agency, which allows the Fire Chief to <br />issue open burning permits. <br />Motion/Second: Linke/Blanchard to approve the <br />first rea ing of Ordinance No. 342, amending <br />Chapter 63.05 of the Municipal Code of the City <br />of Mounds View, entitled "Fire Code". <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained the proposed <br />resolution, stating that it was prepared under <br />advisement from Attorney Meyers. <br />Director Johnson added that Chapters 60, 61, 62 <br />and 63 will require amendments, and to make all the <br />changes inclusive, they are proposing to modify <br />all the chapters. <br />10 <br />tFjAke <br />C.,, •, <br />Motion Carried <br />1 <br />1st Reading of <br />Ord 342 A, end- <br />ing Chapter <br />63.05 of the <br />Municipal Code <br />of the City of <br />Mounds View <br />Entitled, "Fire <br />Code" <br />Motion Carried <br />1st Reading of <br />Ord. 343 Amend- <br />ing Chapters 60 <br />61, 62 and 63 <br />�J <br />
