Kly 3, 111133
Mfi Ii 1
s,. MOUND 41EWM1dl
To the Ilonordble Mayor and Cily Councilpursoos of Muundsview:
RE: Request on lots on Silver Lake Road in name of
Ualberg-Hanson
We the undersigned request a continuinre of. thr review
for rezoning of the above mentioned lots to R3 zoning
for the following reasons:
1. As duplex lots, this would only recognize 3/4 of
the land because a duplex lot need only bo 100 x 150
and we have 200' depth, plus extra width on one lot.
2. The proposed pldna of a 4 unit and d :3 unit• residential
townhouse style multi -family buildings which have been
r submitted meet all the city requirements without variances
and still this zoning is not a high density zoning.
3. We wish to draw attention to tho fact- that the rear
of proposed buildings would be over 200 feet• from homes
facing Groveland !toad.
4. R-3 zoning on above property seems to be the highest
and best use for the property because it is most condusive
to the adjoining zoning to the north of the property,
being high -density apartments.
5. In the event that it could be more feasible to the
city, we would consibr one R-2 lot on the south 100' and
one R-3 lot on the north 133' which is larger than
needed for city requirements for a 4 unit townhouse
style and we can still use the engineered drainage site
as approved by the city engineers.
Thank you for your time and cooperation.
Respectfully submitted:
l n
