Hanson/Dalberg <br />the first public hearing at 7:40 PM. Rezoning and <br />Consideration <br />Director Johnson reported the applicant has applied Minor Subdivi- <br />for a conditional use permit, rezoning and subdivision sion and di <br />of property along Silver Lake Road. He stated the tional U; <br />Planning Commission has reviewed the request and Permit <br />recommended the Council proceed and grant approval. Hearing <br />Mr. Dalberg stated he had no comments to add. <br />David Holmes, 7723 Groveland Road, stated there are <br />already two double bungelows and one apartment <br />building between County Road I and Highway 10, with <br />all that property at one time being zoned residential. <br />He stated he is concerned that if the property is <br />continued to be rezoned, it will lose it's residential <br />status, which he does not want. He stated his property <br />abutts the Dalberg property, and he would like it left <br />single family residential. <br />Bruce Wolf, 7685 Groveland Road asked exactly where <br />the proposed development would go. Director Johnson <br />pointed it out on a City map. <br />Craig Zuidema, 2809 County Road I, stated he lives <br />adjacent to the duplexes on Silver Lake Road and he <br />has not had a good experience with them as neighbors. <br />He stated he feels there are enough duplexes and <br />apartments in the neighborhood. <br />Mayor McCarty closed the public hearing and reopened the <br />regular meeting at 7:49 PM. <br />Councilmember Blanchard asked if the townhouses would <br />be for rent or s Mr. Dalberg replied they would <br />be foresale•. <br />
