2 <br />•9- <br />(6) Permit Duration. Permits issued under this ordinance shall be <br />valid for a period of six (6) months Ercm the date of <br />issuance. The Administrative Authority is authorized to extend <br />the expiration date of the permit. The Administrative <br />Authority is authorized to modify the plans to prevent any <br />increase in sedimentation, erosion or runoff resulting from any <br />extension. <br />37.09 AMINISTRATION. <br />1) L4Re2ation of Administrative Authority. <br />a The Assistant Director for Development Assistance shall, in <br />consultation with the City Engineer, administer, approve <br />plans and enforce the provisions of this ordinance on <br />private lands within the City of Madison. <br />(b) The City Engineer shall administer, approve plans and <br />enforce the provisions of this ordinance on public lands <br />and upon request shall review and approve erosion and <br />runoff control plans for private property in the City of <br />Madison. ` <br />(c) The City Engineer shall administer, approve plans and <br />enforce the provisions.of this ordinance on lands being <br />subdivided by plat or certified survey within the <br />extraterritorial limits for plat review in accordance with <br />Wisconsin Statutes 236.10, for Erosion and Runoff Control <br />including both public lands and private lands. <br />(2) Administrative Duties. The administration and enforcement of this <br />` - ordinance, s a inc ude the following duties: <br />(a) Keep an accurate record of all plan data received, plans <br />approved, permits issued, inspections made and other <br />official actions. <br />(b) Review all plans and permit applications received when <br />accompanied with the necessary information and the <br />appropriate fee and issue the permits. <br />(c) Investigate all complaints made to the application of this <br />ordinance. <br />(d) Revoke any permit granted under this ordinance if the <br />holder of the permit has misrepresented any material fact <br />in the permit application or plan; or has failed to comply <br />with the plan as originally approved or as modified in <br />writing; or has violated any of the other conditions of the <br />permit as issued to the applicant. <br />(3) Insncction Authority. The Administrative Authority is <br />authorized -to -enter any public or private lands affected <br />by this ordinance to inspect the land prior to permit issuance <br />for the purpose of determining whether to approve the plan and <br />after permit issuance to determine compliance with this <br />ordinance. If permission cannot be received from the owner, <br />occupant or user, entry shall be according to Secs. 66.122 and <br />66.123, Wis. Stats. <br />
