RESOLUTION NO. 1610 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING SIGNATORES FOR POST BOARD <br />TRAINING REIMBURSEMENT MONIES <br />WHEREAS, beginning in 19B2 the State of Minnesota collected <br />a 10% surcharge on all moving traffic violations; and <br />WHEREAS, from this penalty assessment money the POST Board <br />has been appropriated $900,000 to be used as a reimbursement to <br />local units of government to offset the cost of providing continuing <br />education to peace officers; and <br />WHEREAS, the POST Board requires two signatores on applica- <br />tion forms submitted by local units of government to obtain such <br />money; and <br />WHEREAS, one of the signatores must be the Police Chief, <br />with the other being an officer designated by resolution of the <br />governing body. <br />i NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View that the Police Chief and Finance Director of <br />the City of Mounds View are designated the signatores for all <br />application forms required by the Minnesota POST Board to obtain <br />training reimbursement monies. <br />Adopted this 23rd day of May, 1983. <br />ATTEST: <br />Maunr <br />(SEAL) <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />
