L-/w �/ <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1615 <br />fe�� CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING AUTHORIZATION TO ACCEPT <br />APPLICATIONS AND ISSUE OPEN BURNING PERMITS <br />AND DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED INDIVIDUAL <br />WHEREAS, Section (f) (3) of the Minnesota Air Pollution <br />Control Agency Rule No. 8 provides that a City may accept applica- <br />tions and issue open burning permits upon authorization by the <br />Minnesota Pollution Control Agency; and <br />WHEREAS, said rule further allows that the City may designate <br />a person or persons to be the authorized individual(s) to accept <br />such applications; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Mounds View and <br />the Spring Lake Park Fire Department, Inc., to be able to issue <br />open burning permits where appropriate. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View that the City formally requests authorization <br />to issue such open burning permits from the Director of the Division <br />of Air Quality, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City designates the Chief <br />of the Spring Lake Park Fire Department, Inc., or his designee as <br />the authorized individual(s) to accept such applications. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Adopted this 13th day of June, 1983. <br />Mayor <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />
