MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM; Director of Public Works/Community Development " <br />DATE: June 9, 1983 <br />SUBJECT: SILVER LAKE WOODS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 81-3 <br />Attached is a copy of the paperwork for the final payment request <br />from Dawson Construction. Also attached is Short -Elliott -Hendrickson <br />recommendation of approval and acceptance of the Improvement <br />Project No. 81-3. <br />This request is to formalize previous approvals, sets the date for <br />the maintenance period and completes some of the required paperwork <br />for the M.S.A. funding applications. <br />Since the underground electrical cables have not been installed in <br />100 percent of the project, certain street lights cannot be connected. <br />Mary Anderson Homes has agreed to assume responsibility for connec- <br />tion of street lights when cables are installed. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends acceptance of Silver Lake Woods <br />Improvement Project No. 81-3 and approval of final payment to Dawson <br />Construction. <br />JCJ/bc <br />Attachments <br />cc: Don Brager <br />
