RESOLUTION NO. 1590 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING EDUCATIONAL INCENTIVE PAY <br />FOR POLICE OFFICER TERRENCE BROOS <br />WHEREAS, on March 10, 1983 Police Officer Terrence Broos <br />filed a request for educational incentive benefits; and <br />WHEREAS, the 1981-82 Master Labor Agreement between <br />Teamsters Local No. 320 and the Metropolitan Area Management <br />Association,of which the City of Mounds View is a member, provides <br />for educational incentive pay to police officers who completed <br />eligible course work at an accredited educational institution after <br />12 months of continuous employment; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the M.A.M.A. Committee on <br />Educational Incentive that Police Officer Terrence Broos has <br />completed a total of 70 credits in approved courses while attending <br />Augsburg College and St. Mary's College and is eligible for educa- <br />tional incentive pay at a rate of 3% of his base pay as provided for <br />in Article 21.6 of the Master Labor Agreement; and <br />WHEREA.7, Police Officer Terrence Broos will have completed <br />12 months of continuous employment on May 15, 1983. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View hereby approves the educational incentive pay <br />for Police Officer Terrence Broos at a rate of 38 of his base pay <br />effective May 15, 1983. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />,- <br />Adopted this llth day of April, 1983. <br />Mayor <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />
