These small jets have increased in both volume and noise impact on the community of Mounds View because of both their numbers and the flight paths being used by their pilots in taking off from and landing at the Anoka County -Blaine Airport. These planes are operating in the early morning hours prior to 8:00 a.m. and in the late evening hours after 8:00 p.m. when increased noise levels are more noticeable to residents of. the community. The flight patterns presently being used by the majority of the pilots operating these planes brings them over a large portion of the City of Mounds View at very low altitudes and the impact is being felt over. the entire City. Ile feel that on more than one occasion we have been led to believe that incidents such as these would be avoided due to modifications in the rules by which the Metropolitan Airports Commission operates the airports under its jurisdiction. It has become quite obvious in recent days, however, that either the regulations were not implemented or the pilots are ignoring these regulations. Therefore, as previously stated, we must at this time voice our strongest objections to the problems we are presently facing which we feel are a direct result of the methods by which the Metropolitan Airports Commission is operating the Anoka County -Blaine Airport and demand that immediate action be taken to remedy this untenable situation ox we will be forced to seek whatever appropriate legal recourse might be available to us.
