el- <br />RESOLUTION No. 1411 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING LAND DIVISION <br />REQU111EMLNTS FOR THE RAMSEY COUNTY RECORDING <br />DEPARTMENT AND TAXATION DEPARTMRNT OFFICES <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has had subdivision <br />ordinance regulations since August 4, 1959; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View, in their subdivision <br />ordinance, has established regulations regarding qualifications <br />for subdivisions; and <br />WHEREAS, these qualifications include submission require- <br />ments for applicants proposing subdivisions; and <br />WHEREAS, these submission requirements are then reviewed by <br />the City Commissions and Council for action of approval or denial <br />based on application of City ordinances and resolutions; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Subdivision Ordinance requires that <br />all subdivisions/land divisions require official City approval <br />prior to filing at Ramsey County; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View does <br />not recognize subdivisions/land divisions filed at Ramsey County <br />without City approval; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of -Mounds View directs its Staff to present this resolution to <br />the County Offices of Recording and Taxation notifying them to <br />accept subdivision/land division requests only if they are accom- <br />panied with official Mounds View documents or stamps which indicate <br />City approval; <br />DE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View will not recognize subdivisions/land divisions filed <br />ir. the past, present or future with Ramsey County that have not <br />raceived City approval. <br />Adopted this 23rd day of August, 1982. <br />ATTEST: __ <br />Mayor <br />(SEAL) <br />Clerk -A minrstrator <br />
