' RESOLUTION N0, 17.77 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />PROPOSED AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW AND THE <br />LAKESIDE PARK COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has adopted the Lakeside Park Ordinance, <br />Chapter 50 and has worked in conjunction with the City of Spring Lake Park and the <br />Lakeside Park Commission to administer and niaintain Lakeside Park; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lakeside Park Commission has individually contracted with <br />the City of Mounds View for providing administrative services to Lakeside Park <br />by adopting Resolution No. 1277 on May 11, 1981; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lakeside Park Commission has entered into a contractual <br />agreement with the City of Spring Lake Park by adopting Resolution No. 81-15 <br />for providing maintenance services at Lakeside Park on May 4, 1981; and <br />WHEREAS, both contractual agreements are working extremely well and the <br />need for a full time Lakeside Park Commission does not appear to be eminent at <br />this point. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED that the proposed Lakeside Park Commission <br />`aw would consist of six members of equal representation from both cities of Spring <br />Lake Park and Mounds View. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the six Lakeside Park Commission members be <br />apointed for a one year period and each community would be represented on the <br />Lakeside Park Commission by one representative from the Park and Recreation Commis- <br />sions, ohe.representative from the City Councils and one representative from the <br />city at large, ideally with some past experience in aquatic or beach programming. <br />The Lakeside Park Commission should meet a minimum of three times per year. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Lakeside Park Commission would not be <br />a policy making commission but rather have the responsibility of an advisory body <br />working in conjunction with the related Parks and Recreation Departments. <br />Adopted this 27th day of June, 1982 <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />CHAIRPERSON - LAKESIDE PARK COMMISSI <br />y <br />SECRETARY - LAKESIDE PARK COMMISSION <br />
