Metropolitan Area management Affoci n <br />of the Twin City Area I <br />July 22, 1982 <br />TO: I.U.O.E., LOCAL NO. 49 <br />FROM: METROPOLITAN AREA <br />MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION <br />SUBJECT: INJURY ON DUTY <br />PROPOSAL TO I.U.O.E., <br />LOCAL NO. 49 <br />MASTER AGREEMENT <br />ARTICLE ( ) INJURY ON DUTY <br />.1 Employees shall be credited with an Injury On Duty (IOD) <br />leave bank of sixty (60) days following completion of <br />their probationary period. <br />2 Employees injured while on duty through no fault of <br />the employee shall be paid the difference between <br />the employee's regular rate of pay and any Workers' <br />Compensation benefits beginning with the sixth (6th) <br />day of any injury provided the employee is eligible <br />for Workers' Compensation benefits. <br />.3 Such IOD payments are limited to the number of days in <br />the employee's IOD leave bank and shall be discontinued <br />whenever a licensed physician states that the employee <br />is physically able to return to the employee's previous <br />duties. <br />1 <br />
