Approval of Firs <br />reading Ordinance No. 321, amending the municipal Reading of Ord. <br />code of the City of Mounds View by creating Chapter No. 321 Amending <br />49, "Flood Plain Zoning Ordinance', and waive the the Municipal <br />reading of the ordinance, making it available at Code of the City <br />City Hall for review by residents. of Mounds View b <br />Creating Chapter <br />5 ayes 0 nays 49, "Flood Plain <br />Ordinance" <br />Motion Carried <br />Attorney Meyers reported he has read the proposed <br />ordinance and finds there may be some overlap <br />between the flood plain ordinance and wetland <br />ordinance, and gave an example from page 6. <br />Director Johnson responded that the two ordinances <br />,,--,ere worked in tandem, and while he feels they are <br />)nsistent, he cannot guarantee it. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Doty to authorize Attorney <br />Meyers and Staff to compare Chapters 49 and 48 and <br />report back any inconsistencies. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Director Johnson was directed to forward the pro- <br />posed ordinance to the DNR for their review, <br />since their comments must be received before the <br />second reading. <br />It was noted that this item was discussed earlier 10. Utility and Tree <br />Removal Accounts <br />Park Director Anderson reported they had received 11.
