Mounds View City Council September 27, 1982 <br />Regular Meeting Page Seven <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />ake procedural steps before approving a franchise. <br />also stated that the City should address having <br />1 facility in the maintenance building. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported he had had several <br />discussions with the people connected to the cable tv, <br />and in order to provide adequate public notice, the <br />newsletter could be sent out early, Clerk/Administrator <br />Pauley outlined the tentative schedule. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Doty to arrange to have the <br />October 25, 1982 regular Council meeting at the Edgewood <br />Community Resource Center, in the theater, for a public <br />hearing on cable television, at 7:30 PM, with the <br />regular Council meeting to follow the hearing, at the <br />same location. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Motion/Second: Doty/Blanchard to direct Staff to <br />request that the maintenance building be included in <br />the hook-ups, <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />,,..Sttorney Meyers reported he had sent a memo to the <br />')uncil regarding the Rochester Association case, <br />.,--.43.th the Comprehensive Plan versus Zoning, and it <br />was held that the zoning regulations control use of <br />the property ip the City. <br />Director Johnson reported he and Staff are as ready <br />as possible on the Wetlands Ordinance. <br />Councilmember Hodges had no report. 18. Reports of <br />Councilmembers <br />Councilmember Forslund reminded everyone to get out <br />and vote on the school bond issue on October 5. <br />Councilmember Blanchard had no report. <br />Councilmember Doty reported he had missed the Park <br />Board meeting the previous week. <br />Councilmember Doty stated he had had an article for <br />the newsletter edited, and in the future would expect <br />no editing would be done without the prior approval <br />of the writter. <br />Mayor McCarty reported they must begin the process of <br />,king the necessary amendments to Chapter 50, regard- <br />ig the Lakeside Park Commission. Clerk/Administrator <br />lauley replied that he would have Park Director Anderson <br />prepare a proposed amendment. <br />
