42.09 <br />et(3) Widths. All street right-of-way widths shall con- <br />form to Lhc following minimum dimensions: <br />Minor Arterial So feet <br />Collector Streets 66 feet <br />Local Streets 60 feet <br />Service Roads 50 feet <br />Cul-dc-sacs 65 feet radius <br />42}(B) Alleys. <br />a..(1) Restricted to Certain Zones. Alleys shall not be <br />platted in residential areas but may be platted in <br />industrial and business zones where appropriate to the <br />overall design. <br />g-(2) Widths. All alley rights -of -way shall be at least <br />24 feet in width. <br />Subdivision 3. Pedestrian Wad. In blocks over 900 feet long, <br />pedestrian crosswalks t ri—} ough the blocks and at least ten (10) feet <br />wide of concrete or other surfacing may be required in locations <br />deemed necessary to public health, convenience and necessity. <br />Subdivision 4. Easements. <br />41}(A) Provided for Utilities. Easements at least ten (10) feet <br />wide, centered on rear and other lot lines, shall be pro- <br />vided for utilities where necessary and shall be dedicated <br />to the public by appropriate language in the owner's certi- <br />ficiate. They shall have continuity of alignment from block <br />to block, and at deflection points easement for pole -line <br />anchors shall be provided where necessary. <br />42}(B) Provided for Drainage. Easements shall be provided <br />along each side of the center line of any watercourse or <br />drainageway ehannel whether or not shown in the Comprehensive <br />Plan, to a width sufficient to provide proper maintenance <br />of storm sewers, and they shall be dedicated to the Munici- <br />pality by appropriate language in the owner's certificate. <br />Additional easements may be required for streets, parkways <br />or park strips parallel to the watercourse, drainage or <br />storm sewer line. <br />c) Provided for Designated Wetlands. Easements shall be <br />orovi 7 for wetlands, as delineated by the "Official Mao" <br />N <br />cate. <br />Subdivision 5. Blocks. <br />4 WA) Factors Governing Dimensions.
