MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Director of Public Works/Community Development <br />DATE: December 2, 1982 V/T <br />SUBJECT: JOHN JOHNSON'S 1983 PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT <br />Attached is a rough draft of proposed 1983 contract. The contract <br />provides for a basic service level at an average of 20 hours per <br />week. The basic service level would cover the routine departmental <br />activities and preparation for and attendance at regular Council and <br />Planning Commission meetings. The services would be funded from the <br />Sewer, Water, General and Storm Water Management (SWM) funds as <br />follows: <br />Sewer 25% (260 hrs.) <br />Water 25% (260 hrs.) <br />SWM and General 50% (520 hrs.) <br />Specific projects would include such items as review of plats, <br />rezonings, conditional use permits, wetland alteration permits, <br />improvements projects, site plans and special studies such as treat- <br />ment plant study, street maintenance study and MSA studies. These <br />(^ services would be funded through administrative charges to the <br />applicants or sources designated at the time the study is authorized. <br />As in the current amended contract, the fee for regularly scheduled <br />City Council and Planning Commission meetings would be at a flat fee <br />of 595.00 (2 hours). <br />If you have any questions, please contact me. <br />JCJ/bc <br />Attachment <br />
