--- Provides specific documentation and justification for <br />1 all resolutions, ordinances and revisions. <br />Continually reviews existing codes and ordinances for consis- <br />tency and case of interpretation and recommends modifica- <br />tions wherever necessary. <br />Reviews availability of Federal, State or other funds for public 8 <br />works use in the City and determines the appropriateness of <br />applying for such funds. <br />--- Makes recommendations to the City Council relative to <br />applications for such funds to support programs that <br />can be shown to benefit the City. <br />Plans and details projects in a manner which identifies results 9 <br />to be achieved, related costs and what, if any, outside <br />contractors will be needed to complete part or all of the <br />approved or proposed projects, <br />Cunsults with uuLside engineering firms, planning agencies and <br />others <br />10 <br />concerned to coordinate their work within the general <br />parameters set down by the City Council. <br />Maintains cooperative working relationship with nearby communi- <br />11 <br />ties which encourage suggestions and/or guidance which <br />would be helpful to <br />planning the public works activities <br />of the City. <br />Attends Planning Commission and City Council meetings in order <br />12 <br />to provide the most accurate information on cases under <br />review or provide guidance and assistance with information <br />on future planning and development. <br />Keeps the Clerk -Administrator informed of all matters which <br />13 <br />need immediate attention or are required to effectively <br />manage overall City operations. <br />Assumes other responsibili;:ies as apparent or as delegated. <br />14 <br />Other Performance Measurements <br />--- Staff support for the Planning Commission and City Council <br />is provided in such a manner to keep members fully informed <br />and up-to-date on future development which can be shown to <br />be in the best interest of the City. <br />--- Objectives and priorities set for the Department are being <br />achieved as planned, <br />--- A positive and favorable public image is being maintained <br />in the City relating to Public Works and Community Development, <br />
