Council directed Clerk/Administrator Pauley to contact City Attorney Meyers and obtain a report regarding the compatibility of the Municipal Code with statutory requirements and the liabilities assumed by the City when issuing gambling device permits. Toltz, King, Duvall, Anderson and Associates regarding the results of the bench testing portion of the City's water system analysis and that organization's recommendations for the next step in the process which will ultimately alleviate the problem of manganese in the City's water system. Motion/Second: McCarty/Blanchard to authorize a pilot plant study at water treatment plants 2 and 3 by Cerco Labs and TKDA, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $9,500 and $2,500, respectively, from the Water Fund reserves. 5 ayes 0 nays REPORT FROM TKDA ON 2ND PHASE OF TESTING FOR WATER TREATMENT STUDY Motion Carried 0
