RESOLUTION NO. 1543 v <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 1430 OPPOSING <br />ACQUISITION AND EXTENSION OF NEW BRIGHTON TRUNK SEWER <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council adopted Resolution <br />No. 1430 on April 26, 1982 opposing the acquisition and extension <br />of a New Brighton Trunk Sanitary Sewer to the City of Arden Hills; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council, on October 18, 1982, <br />determined that further opposition to the proposed acquisition and <br />extension would be inappropriate due to the fact that the City's <br />opposition resulted from the application of a formula established <br />by the Minnesota Statutes for the acquisition of existing facilities <br />by the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City of Mounds View to <br />work towards the ultimate legislative modification of the afore- <br />mentioned. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View that Resolution No. 1430 is forthwith rescinded. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Adopted this loth day of January, 1983. <br />Mayor <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />
