RESOLUTION N0. 1541 CITY OF MIXINDS VIEW COUNTY OF RPMSEY STATE OF MINNESOPA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE JOINT AND COOPERATIVE AGFMOU FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF A CABLE COMMUNICATIONS SYSM4 1MREAS, the City of Mounds View (hereinafter "City") has granted a cable cammnications franchise ordinance to Group W Cable of the North Suburbs, Inc., a subsidiary of Westinghouse Broadcasting and Cable, Inc.; and N1[EREAS, on November 12, 1982, City was issued a Regular Certificate of confirmation by the Minnesota Cable Camunications Board relative to the Group W Cable franchise; and WHEREAS, City believes it to be in its best interest and the most effi- cient utilization of resources for City to participate in a Joint and Coopera- tive Agreement for the Administration of the Cable Canminications Systan; and WHEREAS, said joint and cooperative effort is authorized by Minnesota Statute 471.59, as amended. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of mounds View shall participate in the North Suburban Cable Cmmission for the W., administration of a cable canamications system. - BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the appropriate officers of City shall execute the final Joint and Cooperative Agreement of the North Suburban Cable cmmission and file it appropriately with the manager of the City of Roseville, Minnesota; FURTHER, City authorizes its proportional share of the assets of the dissolved North Suburban Cable Camunications Cmmission as City's initial contribution to the North Suburban Cable Camission; FURTMR, that the City's dire:wr sha11 � Jar Skelly; residing at 7095 Rnollwocd Drive, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55432, whose phone number is 734-3635; and FURTHER, that the City's alternate shall be Adopted this loth day of January, 1983. ----------------- Mayor (SEAT') Clerk- IuNu nistrator
