RESOLUTION NO. 1544 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OR RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION COMMENDING MARILYNNE DENNEHY FOR <br />FOUR YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE <br />MOUNDS VIEW PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, Marilynne Dennehy has served the Mounds View Parks <br />and Recreation Commission for the past four years; and <br />WHEREAS, fhe provided an active leadership role in directing <br />and shaping future Parks and Recreation movement within the City of <br />Mounds View; and <br />WHEREAS, Marilynne Dennehy was directly involved in the <br />development and acquisition of Silver View Park, establishment of the <br />City-wide Comprehensive Park Plan, Park Reforestation efforts, and <br />Neighborhood Park Improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, leisure recreation programs were expanded under her <br />guidance and direction; and <br />WHEREAS, improved and expanded lines of communication and <br />cooperation were developed with School District 1621 through joint <br />park/school facility development and joint powers agreement allowing <br />for increased school usage. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />hereby publicly commends and thanks Ms. Marilynne Dennehy for her <br />years of dedicated service to the City of Mounds View Parks and <br />Recreation movement. <br />Adopted this loth day of January, 1983. <br />ATTEST: — <br />Mayor McCarty <br />Councilmember Blanchard Councilmember Hankner <br />Councilmember Linke Councilmember Doty <br />(SEAL) <br />Clerk -Administrator Pauley <br />
