RESOLUTION NO. 1545 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW YC <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION COMMENDING GORDON FEDOR FOR <br />SIX YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE <br />MOUNDS VIEW PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, Gordon Fedor has served the Mounds View Parks and <br />Recreation Commission for the past six years; and <br />WHEREAS, he provided an active leadership role in directing <br />and shaping future Parks and Recreation movement with the City of <br />Mounds View; and <br />WHEREAS, Gordon Fedor was directly involved in the development <br />and acquisition of Silver View Park, establishment of City-wide <br />Comprehensive Park Plan, Park Reforestation efforts, and Neighborhood <br />Park Improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, leisure recreation programs were expanded under his <br />guidance and direction; and <br />WHEREAS, improved and expanded lines of communication and <br />cooperation were developed with School District #621 through joint <br />park/school facility development and joint powers agreement allowing <br />for increased school usage. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />hereby publicly commends and thanks Mr. Gordon Fedor for his years <br />of dedicated service to the City of Mounds View Parks and Recreation <br />movement. <br />ATTEST: <br />Adopted this loth day of January, 1983. <br />Mayor McCarty <br />Councilmember Elanchard Councilmember Hankner <br />Councilmember Linke Councilmember Doty <br />(SEAL) Clerk -Administrator Pauley <br />tit <br />
