The Council expressed their thanks and appreciation for the years of service Councilmember Forslund has given to the City, not only with the City Council and Planning Commission, but also with Scounting and her church activities, and for her dedication to the youth of the community. Councilmember Forslund thanked the Council and stated hoar much she has enjoyed working with them. Clerk/Administrator Pauley read Resolution No. 14. Mounds View Mayor McCarty presented Councilmember Hodges with a street sign for "Hodges Lane". Councilmember Hodges thanked the Council for the time they have worked together. He read some clippings from when he first was elected, some 20 years ago. Councilmember Forslund stated she forsees a rough road ahead for the City in the 80's, .and wished the Council well. `J Councilmember Blanchard reminded the Council of the Ramsey County League meeting to be held January 19, at the Venetian Inn, regarding the consolidation of the County courts.
