Mounds View City Council d <br />Regular Meeting j WAtrI L IV L U <br />------------ ----------------------------------------- <br />Mayor McCarty updated the Council on the latest <br />occurances regarding the airport situation. lie <br />stated he would be preparing a written report for them. <br />Mayor McCarty reported Jerry Skelly had informed him <br />he is interested in continuing as Mounds View's <br />representative to the cabel tv board. <br />Mayor McCarty updated the Council on the REIL <br />system for the airport. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Blanchard to have the Council <br />Uecome more involved with the REIL issue at the <br />Anoka County Airport. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley stated he had sent a <br />letter to the MAC already. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley informed the Council they <br />had opened bids on the word processor, with bids <br />being received from 27 firms, with many options on <br />equipment. He stated Ramsey County will be evalua- <br />ting the bids for the cities and recommending the <br />top five for compatibility and price, and the <br />cities will then get together to go over those top <br />five bids. He added it will be 30-45 days before <br />he will have a recommendation for the Council. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley stated Park Director <br />Anderson has asked the Council to consider reducing <br />the withholding amount for J&S Sod for the work they <br />did at Silver View Park. <br />Motion/Second: Hodges/McCarty to authorize payment <br />oT�j,ubj.Du to JU Sod, and still retain $1,073.50. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley <br />and Councilmember Forslund, <br />the time they have given to <br />thanked Councilmember Hodges <br />on behalf of Staff, for. <br />the City. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley thanked the Council on <br />behalf of himself and his wife, for their support in <br />the recent birth of their son.
