S <br />MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Clerk -Administrator <br />DATE: January 20, 1983 <br />SUBJECT: ANOKA COUNTY-BLAINE AIRPORT RUNWAY AND IDENTIFICATION <br />LIGHT PROPOSAL <br />Attached please find correspondence received by this office from the <br />Metropolitan Council advising that the Metropolitan Council, on <br />December 9, 1982, had completed its review of the referenced proposal <br />and found that the proposal is consistent with Regional Aviation <br />System policies. Also, the letter advises that it was the determina- <br />tion of the Council that reconsideration of this finding was not <br />necessary after receiving the City's correspondence on December 22, 1982. <br />Should Council wish to take any further action on this matter, please <br />advise staff of your desires. <br />DFP/pf <br />Attachments <br />A <br />
