Northeast <br />OECasi _U Marine, <br />Highway 10, <br />4 ayes 0 nays CUP Request <br />(B-3, Used <br />Auto Sales), <br />B-3, Highway <br />Business Dstr. <br />Case 121-82 <br />Motion Carried <br />Technician Kampel stated he had written a letter <br />to the applicant, informing him that. he must <br />obtain the owners approval for a conditional <br />use permit at the property. <br />It was the concensus of the Commission that the <br />owner of the property should be notified of his <br />renter's request, and be made aware that he was <br />responsible for the use of his property. It was <br />decided the issue would be discussed further at <br />the Commission's January 19 agenda session. <br />Technician Kampel reviewed the request of the <br />7. MermaidSupper <br />Club,u <br />applicant to construct an addition onto the <br />Highway 10, <br />south end of their existing building. <br />Development <br />Dan Hall introduced himself as the representative <br />Review (Propose <br />Addn.) B-3, <br />from the Mermaid, and stated he had nothing to <br />Highway Busine; <br />add to Mr. Kampel's report. <br />Dstr., <br />Motion/Second: Warren/Miller to adopt Reso- <br />Case 122-82 <br />lution No. 70-83, approving the development <br />proposal for an addition to the Mermaid Supper <br />Club. <br />Motion Carried <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion/Second: Warren/McCarthy to lay the agenda <br />aside to hear the Harbon Companies request. <br />Technician Kampel presented the Commission with <br />a copy of the letter received from Mr. Erks, pre- <br />sident of Harbon Companies, dated January 5, out- <br />lining their proposal to build a combination <br />evergreen nursery retail outlet and Montessori <br />preschool. <br />Technician Kampel reviewed the proposal, point- <br />ing out that the nursery sales would be classified <br />B-4, whereas the church school would be R-1 with <br />a conditional use permit, with the existing <br />zoning being R-3/R-4. <br />
