Clerk/Admini- <br />strator Pauley replied that it has been discussed <br />and Staff must look at the size factor and financial <br />feasibility of it. <br />Councilmember Blanchard stated that Bob Glazer had <br />done an extensive study at one time, and they should <br />check to see if his records are available. <br />Councilmember klankner stated she would like to thank <br />all who were involved with the Festival in the Park, <br />with a special thanks going to Jan Quick. Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley replied that a letter of <br />appreciation will be sent. <br />Mayor McCarty stated he had spoken with Jan Quick <br />and the Festivities Commission would like to have <br />the Festival critiqued as soon as possible. He <br />asked Clerk/Administrator Pauley to set up a joint <br />meeting with the Council and Festivities Commission, <br />for July 19. <br />Councilmember Linke reported he had sat in on some <br />of the interviews for Police Chief, and he feels there <br />is a good group of applicants. <br />He reminded the Council of the Ramsey County League <br />meeting on July 20, which is a picnic and tour, with <br />reservations due by July 15. <br />Mayor McCarty reported that on July 9 at 8:15 AM, he <br />was buzzed by a T33 jet with Air Force markings, and <br />stated he would like an inquiry made as to why their <br />aircraft was performing, using Runway 17 with no wind. <br />Mayor McCarty stated the sense of urgency for setting <br />goals and policies is increasing, and recommended <br />setting up a meeting to discuss it, as soon as possible. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley replied that the best time <br />to do it was right after the goal setting workshop <br />on August 31 and September 1. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported there is now 17. Report of <br />Administrator <br />$42.73 in the drapery fund. <br />Motion/Second: Doty/Linke to adjourn at 9:33 PM. 18.
