MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW AND MARY JO THOMPSON <br />FOR USE' OF IIER PERSONAL VEHICLE <br />The following memorandum of understanding is hereby <br />entered into on the Rth day of August 1983 between the City <br />of Mounds View and Mary Jo Thompson to utilize her personal <br />vehicle in accordance with the 1983 P.R.A.D. Grant. The <br />tollowing paints are hereby agreed to and understood between <br />the two parties, commencing Wednesday, July 20 through <br />Wednesday September 21, 1983: <br />1. That Lhe City hereby recognizes lhu need to utilize Ms. <br />Thompson's personal vehicle on an as needed basis <br />for transporting equipment, tools and hauling of <br />materials during the length of the 1983 P.R.A.D. <br />Grant. <br />2. That Mary Jo Thompson will provide insurance for her <br />personal vehicle that will be in full effect for the <br />then week period. <br />3. That Mary Jo Thompson will provide the vehicle in good <br />running condition if at all possible to be utilized on <br />/ a daily basis. <br />4. That Ms. 'Thompson will assume any liability regarding <br />vehicle maintenance and repair for her personal vehicle <br />which may occur during its usage in accordance with the <br />1983 P.R.A.D. Grant. <br />5. That Ms. Thompson will be the only person responsible <br />for driving the vehicle during the scheduled work hours. <br />In return for the aforementioned agreements with Ms. <br />Thompson, the City of Mounds View hereby agrees to the <br />following: <br />1. Provide reimbursement for all actual usage on a <br />weekly basis for gas and other related automobile <br />lubricants. <br />2. In addition, the City of Mounds View hereby agrees to <br />pay Mary Jo Thompson $25.00 per week for the use of her <br />vehicle commencing Wednesday, July 20, 1983 through <br />Wednesday, September 21, 1983. <br />3. In addition, Ms. Thompson agrees to not hold the City <br />liable for any injuries or liabilities that may occur <br />through the use of her vehicle on the job site. <br />Hereby agreed to on August 8, 1983 hy: <br />Clerk -Administrator Pauley <br />Park 6 lice.
