MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />rFROM: Director of Public Works/Community Development <br />DATE: August 13, 1983 <br />SUBJECT:, AGENDA ITEMS 13, 14 AND 15 <br />Item 13 <br />On August 16, 1983 at 2:30 p.m., I received a verbal report that <br />the MnDOT state materials engineer is recommending against our <br />proposed resurfacing project and suggests that a reconstruction <br />project be considered instead. At this time, staff is still <br />sorting out the impact of this recommendation. <br />Item 14 <br />As result of above action, staff is proposing to separate 1983 <br />seal coating project and start it as soon as possible. All the <br />necessary forms and quantities have not been verified but will be <br />ready Monday evening. <br />Item 15 <br />Desired materials from consultants for the Miller project will <br />not be available until Monday afternoon. Therefore, staff memo <br />will be prepared then. <br />JCJ/bc <br />
