MEMO TO: Mayor and City Counc']� i `• <br />FROM: Clerk-Administra r , <br />DATE: September 28, 1983 <br />SUBJECT: "WHERE WILL OUR CHILDREN LIVE?" PRESENTATION <br />Pursuant to your direction at the September 19, 1983 Agenda Session, <br />staff has contacted the Metropolitan Council to make arrangements <br />for the presentation of an abbreviated version of "where will our <br />children live?". Mr. Guy Peterson, of the Metropolitan Council <br />staff, and other staff members will be present at your October 3rd <br />Agenda Session to make an audio/visual presentation of information <br />developed by the Metropolitan Council regarding the present status <br />and future of the housing market in the metropolitan area. <br />Once this presentation has been completed it is staff's desire <br />that Council give direction to staff regarding the proposal of <br />the Metropolitan Council to establish a Housing Fund and for <br />revisions to the Housing Chapter of their Development Guide. <br />These items were included in your September 19th Agenda packet <br />and staff would request that you bring this material with you to <br />your October 3rd meeting. <br />Should you require any additional information regarding these <br />items, please do not hesitate to contact staff. <br />DFP/pf <br />
