63.01 <br />CHAPTER 63 <br />FIRE CODE <br />63.01. STATE BUILDING CODE. Effective July 1, 1972, all <br />building within the Municipality shall be regulated by Laws, <br />1971, Chapter. 561. <br />63.02, ADOPTION OF UNIFORM FIRE CODE. There is hereby <br />adopted by Mounds View for the purpose of prescribing regulations <br />governing conditions hazardous to health and property from fire <br />or explosion, that certain code known as the Uniform Fire Code, <br />1973 Edition, recomended by the International Association, being <br />particularly the 1973 edition thereof, and as amended from time <br />to time, of which code at least one (1) copy has been and is now <br />filed int he offices of the Clerk and the same is hereby adopted <br />and the date of which this ordinance shall take effect the pro- <br />visions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the <br />Municipality. GENERAL PROVISIONS. <br />(1) Section 47404B 9.102 Definitions of Uniform Fire Code <br />Amended. <br />(2) Section 47201 102(a), Section 1.209 are hereby <br />amended to include "school bus" as an additional occupancy to be <br />inspected and hazardous conditions remedied. {219} <br />63.04. <br />YARDS <br />MA'f ERIAL HANDLING PLANTS. Section 3-8-14 34.104, the burning of <br />wrecked or discarded motor vehicles or of junk or of any waste <br />materials is hereby prohibited. k249+ <br />63.05. PRECAUTIONS AGAINST FIRE GENERAL is amended in its <br />entirety as follows: <br />Article 11, General Precautions Against Fire, <br />Division 1, Incinerators and open burning, bon fires and <br />outdoor rubbish fires, Section 247404 <br />11.101 (a) is amended in its entirety as <br />follows: <br />(a) Definitions. <br />"Director" - means the Director of the Minnesota Pollution <br />Control Agency. <br />"Garbage" - animal and vegetable matter such as that <br />originating in homes, restaurants, and food service and <br />processing establishments. <br />
